KADAVUPUZHA JALAPATHAM
Kadavupuzha Waterfall, located on the Kadavupuzha River, is at a distance of 2 kilometers from Meechal and 3 kilometers from Moonnilavu


MAYAMKALLU
By walking 2 kilometers up from Valakam, one can reach Mayam Kallu. The view from here, showcasing the naturally scenic hills and hillsides of the surrounding areas, is absolutely beautiful.

KANNADIPPARA
Located 2.5 kilometers away from Illickal Kallu in Pazhukkakkanam, a massive rock formation is known as Kannadipara (Mirror Rock). The Pazhukkakkanam River, which originates from the upper reaches of Pazhukkakkanam, cascades down from Kannadipara to form the Kattikkayam Waterfall. Standing here allows visitors to thoroughly enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty offered by the mountain ranges.

KOLANIMUDI
There is a motorable road from Valakam via Kolanithottam to the tourist destination of Ilaveezhapoonchira. The distance to this location is 15 kilometers. A sweeping, panoramic view of several areas across the Kottayam and Idukki districts can be enjoyed from this peak.
Kolanimudi is a hidden gem in the Kottayam district that remains unnoticed by most people. Located about 28 kilometers away from Pala, it is a remarkably beautiful hill. It stands at an altitude of approximately 4,000 feet above sea level. It is a perfect spot to visit on weekends and holidays for a peaceful time with family and friends.

THEILAPPARA
Starting near Irumapra School and extending up to Valakam, Theilappara is a massive rock formation spanning over 50 acres. The vast expanses of rock beds, interspersed with occasional patches of shrubs, along with the distant views from here, offer a spectacular visual treat.

MECHAL VALAKETTUMUDI
Located 5 kilometers from Meechal and 11 kilometers from Illickal Kallu, Valakettu is a place where many endangered trees and plant species can be found.

MOSCO VIEW POINT
This is a local spot known as Moscow, located on the way from Irumapra to Illickal Kallu. While it is not a specific tourist destination, the view from this viewpoint is absolutely beautiful, especially in the evenings.

PEZHAKKAMALA HILL POINT
This is a hill point located right opposite Illickal Kallu.

ILLICKAL KALLU
Illickal Kallu is a famous tourist destination located within the limits of Moonnilavu Grama Panchayat in the Kottayam district of Kerala. Situated at an altitude of approximately 4,000 feet above sea level, this mountain is a perfect blend of natural beauty and adventure.
Kuda Kallu (Umbrella Rock):
This is the highest part of Illickal Kallu. It got its name because of its umbrella-like shape. The views from here are incredibly beautiful.
Naranga Palam (Citrus Bridge):
This is a very narrow, natural bridge connecting two rocks. The strong winds and the deep valley below make this section even more thrilling.

KATTIKAYAM TOP
Located above the Kattikkayam Waterfall, this is a beautiful, rectangular natural waterbody. A marvel crafted by nature between rocky cliffs on either side, it can be enjoyed in all its crystal-clear clarity during the summer and periods of low water flow. However, during the rainy season, this sight gets completely hidden as the water level rises into a heavy, rushing torrent.
